New Scholarships to Study at Bolton School

Wednesday, 17 December 2014

The Governing Body of Bolton School is delighted to announce that, from September 2015, a number of new Scholarships will be available to pupils entering either the Boys' or Girls’ Division in Year 7. These non-means tested Scholarships will be awarded to those pupils who will make a strong contribution to the academic and wider life of the School. Separately, the School will continue to offer generous bursary support, which currently benefits one in five of the pupils between the ages of 11 and 18.

The Scholarships will be offered at the discretion of the Headmaster or Headmistress following the Bolton School Entrance Examination and Interview. This year, Entrance Testing Day is on Thursday 15 January. Anyone interested in submitting an application for the Entrance Examination should contact Susan Yates (Boys’ Division: seniorboys@boltonschool.org) or Hannah Caulfield (Girls’ Division: seniorgirls@boltonschool.org) on 01204 840201 or by visiting the web page: www.boltonschool.org/entrance-examination.
