"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

Percussion Ensemble in Primary School Performance

Monday, 31 January 2011

The Boys' Division Year 9 Percussion Ensemble, directed by Mr Ian Forgrieve, performed a 30 minute concert to the children of Clarendon Primary School on Monday 31 January.

There were some full ensemble items, some solo items and some audience participation involving the children, who, in a hands-on session were given the opportunity to try out some of the percussion instruments.

Head of Community Music, Mr Jeremy Bleasdale said: "The Percussion Ensemble performed very well and it was a very worthwhile event both for our students and for the children at Clarendon."
