The under 13s’ water polo team competed against four other schools; St Bede’s of Bradford; King Edward School, Birmingham; Kings’ School, Grantham and Warwick School.

Each team played against each other on a league basis before moving on to the knockout stages. Competition was tough throughout and the teams were supported by a crowd of parents, siblings and coaches.

After 15 competitive games the tournament results were:

1st        Bolton School

2nd       King Edward School

3rd       Warwick

4th        Kings’ Grantham

5th        St Bede’s

It is the second year in succession that Bolton School has run out winners of this competition.

City of Manchester Water Chairman and President of ASA, Mike Glover who was recently awarded an OBE for Services to Water Polo attended the tournament at the school.  He presented the winning team with his blazer, which will be framed and hung with pride in the school.
