U13s Water Polo Success at Greater Manchester School Games

Tuesday, 01 April 2014

The Year 8 Water Polo team came out triumphant at the Greater Manchester School Games.

There was some really tough opposition from other boroughs in the round robin tournament. Nonetheless, the boys played really hard, as their scores in each match can attest: they won 11-6 against St Ambrose, 21-0 against Cardinal Langley, 7-1 against Manchester Grammar School, and 15-0 against Crompton House!

The spectacular winning streak made them the well-deserved winners of the Water Polo trophy.

Eight boys from Years 9, 10 and 11 were also present at the Water Polo, volunteering their time to act as Young Leaders and to help to organise the event.

Pupils from the Boys' Division also took part in the Volleyball and Rugby at the Greater Manchester School Games.
