"Hesketh House (Junior Girls' School) is a magical place of adventure, discovery, learning, friendship and joy. The girls, albeit within a modern, disciplined, hard-working atmosphere, appear each evening as though sprinkled in fairy dust."

Fair Play Commendation for U15s' Football Team

Tuesday, 14 June 2011

Bolton School U15s' football team has received a commendation from the Independent Schools' Football Association (ISFA).  The awards are made on the basis of marks given and comments made by match referees in the ISFA Cup competitions. Comments made by opposing schools are also taken into consideration when appropriate.

A delighted Mr Brace, the U15s' coach, said: "The boys have won a lot of plaudits for their football this year, and although they came up short in the ISFA Final itself, their approach, in terms of representing Bolton School in the correct manner, was always excellent. It is particularly pleasing that this has been recognised by a Fair Play award; the squad appreciated that the image they leave behind after each match will always outlast the result."
