Water Polo Festival Win

Two teams from Bolton School excelled at the City of Manchester Water Polo Festival, with one team emerging as winners in their group and the other as runners-up.

The 97's team, coached by Andy McGinty, beat Lancaster Grammar in the semi final and went on to beat Castleford 6-2 in the final to claim their victory.

The 99's team, coached by Drew Winstanley, beat Watford on penalties in the semi final but just lost out to Sedgefield 7-6 in the final.

97 team: Aaron Winstanley (captain), Chris Ray, Bertie Moores, James Barker, Fergus Plant, Tom Prayle, Tyler Turner, Jake Melling, George Lilleywhite, Oli Rhodes, Ed Sandford.

99 team: Ben Ray (captain), Tom Daly, Bill Moores, Alex Oloughlin, Harrison Barker-Smith, Andy Mattison, Callum Pritchard, Peter Somerville, Charles Howe, Thomas Duckworth, Matthew Casey.
