The school shares its attractive 32 acre wooded site with the
Boys' Division and the Infant Department (Beech House). Currently
the Girls' Junior School has its own suited accommodation situated
mainly within the Senior School but it will be moving into its
brand-new building in September 2010.
Housed in an attractive Grade II listed building, the Girls'
Division has an impressive Great Hall, spacious corridors, a
recently refurbished theatre, a technology suite, three computer
rooms containing interactive whiteboards and a total of 74 IBM
compatible personal computers, seven laboratories, Art studios and
two fine libraries staffed by a chartered librarian and her
assistant. The Sixth Form have their own Common Room with a fully
equipped kitchen, comfortable seating and a private study area
containing reference books and networked PCs.
Joint facilities include our award-winning Careers' Department,
the Arts Complex and Sports Hall, a 25 metre swimming pool,
extensive playing fields, the Leverhulme Sports Pavilion and our
own outdoor pursuits facility at Patterdale Hall in the Lake
District.
