Our brand new purpose-built Junior School (Hesketh House) caters
for all our girls' academic and social needs. The Junior School
comprises eight classrooms. It has its own large computer suite,
Science room, well-resourced library and Art/Design Technology room
and a Main Hall with adjoining Music room.
The Junior Girls also benefit from the many excellent sporting
facilities including the 25 metre swimming pool, large sports hall,
gymnasium, playing fields and the tennis courts at the Leverhulme
Pavilion. In addition, the Arts Centre and Great Hall provide a
link with the Senior School.
With a caring and supportive staff of teachers and teaching
assistants, the Junior School does everything to ensure the
happiness and wellbeing of each individual.
The children enjoy a wide range of sporting and musical
activities, all of which are taught by specialist staff. They also
make regular visits to our Outdoor Pursuits centre and have the
opportunity to take part in a wide range of lunchtime clubs and
activities. Charity fundraising is also given a high profile and
the children organise a number of very successful events each
year.
Parents are warmly welcomed to Hesketh House for special events
and information evenings and to discuss any problems which might
arise.
