Pupils in Year 9 have been working hard during breaks and lunchtimes this week to raise money for Children in Need. The girls bought and baked a selection of delicious sweets, soft drinks and cakes, which they then sold to the rest of the School over the course of the week.
Every day the stalls manned by Year 9 were enormously busy, and were so busy that they almost clogged the corridors! However, the girls remained calm and carried on selling their goods to the huge numbers of girls – and some members of staff – who wanted to purchase a sweet treat to enjoy between lessons. The stalls sold out of goods on every occasion.
The money raised by the cake sales will be donated to Children in Need.
