Goodbye and Thank You

Thursday, 19 August 2010

The end of the Summer Term at any school always sees a number of teachers either retiring or moving on and this year was no exception.  It was with great sadness that the Girls' Division said au revoir to four long-term members of staff who had served the School tirelessly.  Mrs Kate McClellan retired after 14 years at the school and having been Head of the Sixth Form for the last 8 years; Mrs Kath Baldwin, a Maths teacher, left the school after 20 years; Mrs Margaret McCulloch had been an Olympic swimmer prior to her 23 years stint as a PE teacher at the school; and Mrs Hilary Crawforth, who had given 34 years of her working life to Bolton School, having been both a pupil and, ultimately, Head of the Infant Department, Beech House.

The Girls' Division also wished the very best to Jemima Hall, Kate McCarthy and Rob West, who were also moving on to pastures new.

All good wishes

The Girls' Division says thank you to Mrs Crawforth, Mrs McClellan, Mrs McCulloch and Mrs Baldwin; each has contributed so much to Bolton School
