"The best thing I can say of the school was that it worked. It embedded in me habits of reading and thinking as well as an enduring curiosity about just about everything."

It's Week 3 of Masterchef

Friday, 16 March 2012

Ten more contestants battled it out at today's latest instalment of Year 9's Masterchef competition.  The brief was to deliver 12 identical cupcakes in the most imaginative and decorative manner possible.

The girls had baked their buns at home and today's session was all about decorating them, testing their speed and skill of icing.

After much deliberation by the judges, which considered the hygiene, creativity and organisation of each of the contestants, the four girls that progessed through to the quarter-finals were:

Sophie Bennett
Josie Waterworth
Kate Moss
Fiona Cooper
