"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

  • Lancashire Badminton - Shreya

Year 9 pupil Shreya Kamath represented Lancashire as a Rank 1 player in the U18 Girls at the Inter County Badminton Tournament held in Nottingham in April. Forty counties from across the UK attended the event, and she had the opportunity to play against some of the best U18 players in the country.

Shreya really enjoyed this priceless experience, which has inspired her to continue her weekly training to improve her game. She is looking forward to playing many more games for Lancashire, and hopefully representing the UK on an international platform one day.

Team Lancashire came ninth after several games against all the counties, spread over the four days of the tournament.
