Sixteen Join Lancashire Lacrosse U15s

A large crop of Girls’ Division pupils were selected for the U15 Lancashire Lacrosse A and B teams this year. Sixteen pupils from Years 8 to 10 were chosen following trials.

Asmara Stubley in Year 10 was chosen as the Captain of the A team, with her fellow pupils Mabel Horridge, Millie Hurt and Maddie Kennedy in Year 10, Ellie Bridge and Abigail Hughes from Year 9, and Phoebe Hurt from Year 8 also selected for the A team.

Joining the B team were Imogen Bootle, Amy Chicken, Emsée Higgins and Rachel Jarvis in Year 10, Arabella Barker-Smith from Year 9, and Year 8 pupils Chloe Ferguson, Eve Gould and Rachel Roscoe. Issy Corrigan, also in Year 8, was picked as a non-travelling reserve.

Lancashire’s A and B squads competed in the Northern Counties Lacrosse Tournament on Sunday 12 March at Queen Margaret’s School in York. All girls had an enjoyable time representing Lancashire and having the opportunity to compete against Shropshire, Cheshire and Yorkshire.
