Ten Girls Selected for Lancashire Lacrosse U13 Squad

Monday, 09 March 2015

A group of ten Girls’ Division pupils have been selected to join the Lancashire Lacrosse U13 squad.

Year 7 girls Arabella Barker-Smith, Ellie Bridge and Lizzy Lees won a place in the squad, as did Year 8s Imogen Bootle, Esmée Higgins, Mabel Horridge, Millie Hurt, Maddie Kennedy, Bryony Meech and Asmara Stubley.

They played for Lancashire in the Northern Counties tournament on Sunday. The team faced off against squads from Yorkshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. It is a fantastic achievement that the girls made it onto the county squad in order to take part in this competition.
