"The best thing I can say of the school was that it worked. It embedded in me habits of reading and thinking as well as an enduring curiosity about just about everything."

Year 9s Quizzed About School Heritage

Monday, 17 March 2014

The Year 9 girls received a lesson on their heritage in their PSE session this week from Girls’ Division alumnus Mrs Haslam. The girls were tested with a fun quiz: they worked in pairs to answer questions about the school’s history, and used their iPads to research information they didn’t already know.

They were also challenged to recognise different parts of the school building from photographs – which did not turn out to be as easy as it might seem!
