Bolton School Team Wins Golf Day Trophy

At the end of September, the Bolton School golf team won the XL Club Schools' Golf Day, which was held at Pleasington Golf Club. This annual event invites school team from across the North West to play, and this year's fixture saw six schools compete.

The Boys' Division team consisted of teacher Mr Chris Coffey, Nathan Clark from year 11, Aston Haslam from Year 12, and Benito O'Loughlin who is in Year 13. They managed to beat the competition and come out in first place, bringing home the trophy at the end of the day.

Nathan also won an individual prize for getting nearest to the pin in two shots on the eighteenth hole.
