A stunning comeback saw Bolton School's 1st XV rugby
team progress to the last sixteen of the Daily Mail U18 Rugby Vase.
Finding themselves 20-0 down at half-time to Dame Allan's School of
Newcastle proved no obstacle for the Bolton team as they put in a
second-half performance to be remembered, forcing a late winning
try to clinch the game 22-20.
The boys will now play either Stonyhurst or Giggleswick in late
January. The 1st XV have made it to the quarter finals
twice before in this national competition.
