Boys and Girls from the graduating Bolton School Sixth Form Classes of 2016 returned to their alma mater to offer real world advice to current Year 12 students on what the first year of student life is like. The large panel of former pupils expanded on lessons learnt in their first year out in the “big bad world”, addressing a range of topics including making the right accommodation choice, budgeting, the importance of diet, joining clubs and activities, choosing between living at home or on campus, choosing the right friends and the benefits of a gap year.

The Class of 2016 then retired to the Leverhulme Suite in the Riley Sixth Form Centre for drinks and canapés where they were able to chat and reminisce with friends about their time at School as well as catch up with their former teachers.
