Eight Receive Cambridge Chemistry Challenge Awards

Eight students in Year 12 received Copper awards in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge!

7,056 entrants in total sat the Challenge, which is a demanding paper of chemistry questions extending ideas beyond the A level specification. Roentgenium, Gold, Silver and Copper Awards are awarded depending on attainment.

Thirteen Bolton School girls put themselves forward for the test, which took place straight after their AS exams! Recipients of the Copper awards were Asena Akdeniz, Kiran Cheema, Katerina Gramm, Nadiya Hall, Reem Harandou, Neha Khimani, Alex Nelson and Rosie Sommerville.
