"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

Last Act of Kindness

Friday, 20 May 2016

Year 13 girls at Bolton School Girls' Division were in high spirits on their last day of school before they go on study leave but they still took the time to bring in old and no longer used toys. Following the tradition of making a charitable donation on the final day of school set by earlier generations, the girls collected a range of games, puzzles and other toys which will be donated to Bolton Toy Library.

The girls chose the toy library as it resonates with their dressing up theme for their final day of childhood memories. The library is a thriving and successful service for all families across the borough, and is the only facility of this kind in the North West of England.
