Sixth form pupil Thorrun Govind is helping to tackle the problem
of dangerous drivers by making a mini-documentary with the support
of ITV.
The ITV Fixers programme has been developed by the Public Service
Broadcasting Trust, with the support of youth volunteering charity
V and the Nationwide Foundation.
They are working with ITV regions across England to help 16 - 25
year olds tackle the problems they care about, and take some
responsibility for making their communities a better place to live
and work.
Thorrun's documentary is called Drive Smart, Drive Safe and aims
to show teenagers the consequences of reckless driving. A short
section of her film can be seen at http://www.itvfixers.com/ and
when completed she hopes to distribute her documentary to test
centres and schools.
