  • The School's own biennial Careers Convention which allows you to consider your future options, network and secure potential work experience placements
  • Activities designed to develop interpersonal skills and your leadership and team-working abilities
  • Building your understanding of business through activities such as BEAT (Business Enterprise and Awareness Training), summer work experience and the Young Enterprise Scheme
  • The opportunity for pyschometric testing
  • Detailed advice on writing your UCAS personal statement from a visiting expert

"When I leave school I hope to go to university to study either English Literature or History as, throughout my time at Bolton School, these are the subjects that I have enjoyed most. Following this I wish to do a law conversion course with the ultimate intention of becoming a barrister.  I have found the Careers Department extremely helpful in offering guidance and assistance, allowing me to make informed decisions about my plans for the future.
