Old Boy and Old Girl become Partners at KPMG
Friday, 05 September 2014
Old Boy Tim Cutler and Old Girl Katie Clinton have been appointed as two of four new partners at KPMG’s Manchester office.
Tim started Bolton School in 1987 and left in 1994 to study at the University of Leeds, working towards a degree in medical sciences.
After finishing university, he joined KPMG in 1998 and now specialises in assurance services to public sector organisations, particularly Local Government and Healthcare. He has significant experience of working with local authorities and NHS organisations, both as an auditor and as an advisor. Going forward, Tim will lead KPMG’s growth across the northern region in healthcare and act as a national lead in Local Government audit.
Katie attended the Girls’ Division from 1990 until 1997 before moving on to obtain a Business Management degree from UMIST and her Chartered Accountant qualification with ICAEW. She joined KPMG in 2000 in the Financial Services sector. In her role as partner, Katie will be a figurehead for the firm’s FS Assurance practice in the North West, whilst continuing to lead development of KPMG’s Financial Services Internal Audit practice across the UK.
She will also continue to develop and lead KPMG’s flagship work placement programme with Bolton School, which is now in its fourth year.
Tim and Katie are two of fifty-two new partners nationally, of which twenty-nine were promoted from within the firm. They will join the firm’s partnership effective from 1st October.
This is a superb achievement for both Alumni, and we offer them our congratulations.
