Careers in Journalism Panel Discussion

A group of four alumni and one Bolton School parent discuss Careers in Journalism as part of the current series of 'Perspectives' presentations hosted on Zoom by Bolton School Girls' Division. The panel consisted of Old Girls Kathryn Austin (Class of 2019), a current student of Multimedia Journalism; Stephanie Gabbatt (Class of 2013), Journalist with the BBC’s World Service; Kathryn Knight (Class of 1989), freelance features writer for publications including the Daily Mail, the Radio Times and Grazia; and Kate McGeown (Class of 1994), a former BBC journalist who now works in communications for the Department for International Development; alongside Girls’ Division parent Amanda Killelea, features writer for the Daily Mirror.
