"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

Old Friends Reconnect at 1940s and 1950s Reunion

Thursday, 29 May 2014

Old Boys and Old Girls who left in the 1940s and 1950s, plus a couple of alumni from the 1930s classes, returned to Bolton School to remember and reminisce. One hundred and forty alumni attended the event, including one Old Girl who is now 97!

The guests had drinks and a good chat in the Riley Centre, before heading off to walk the corridors and look into the classrooms – including ‘crossing the divide’ to explore the other Division! They then enjoyed Afternoon Tea in the Arts Centre, which they remembered as the old Swimming Pool from their school days!
