The Girls’ Division has raised £2921.00 for the DEC’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal through a non-uniform day.

This is one of the most impressive totals the school has achieved for a non-uniform event, particularly in recent years. The girls were thanked for their outstanding contributions during assembly, as well as being reminded why their donations are so important.

The conflict in Ukraine has forced many families to flee their homes. People have left behind jobs, belongings and loved ones. Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) charities and their local partners are working in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries to meet the immediate needs of refugees and displaced people by providing food, water, health assistance, protection and trauma care. The Girls’ Division’s contributions will help support many of those in need and offer some security for those who have suffered.
