MFL Teacher Training at Bolton School

Bolton School is proud to be part of this exciting initiative which allows teacher training to take place in both the independent and state sectors in our area. We are also organising taster sessions if you would like to find out more about training to teach at Bolton School. These are on the following dates: 16th November, 11th January and 19th March. The taster session will begin at 10am until 1.30pm and lunch will be provided. You will be able to observe some classes in action as well as have a tour of the School. If you are interested in applying for a taster session, please contact Ms Marcia Teichman on mteichman@boltonschool.org.uk

If you would like to apply for the NML SCITT, you will need to do this through UCAS: UCAS Search opened on 2nd October 2018 and UCAS Apply on the 9th October 2018 for the academic year 2019/20. The provider code is 2F1 and the course codes is 342L. 

Please note that, if required, government funding is available for subject knowledge enhancement to enable you to either pick up a new language or improve your skills in a language you may have studied at GCSE or A-level. For your information, the NML SCITT is open to UK/EU residents or people with permanent residency on the UK.
