Two Artworks in National Competition’s Top 10

  • YPO Art Comp Zainab Emritte Y11
  • YPO Art Comp Antonia Jameson Y12

Two pieces of artwork by Girls’ Division students have been placed in the final ten of the national YPO Art Competition Secondary Category. The pieces are a watercolour featuring birds by Zainab Emritte in Year 11 and a portrait by Antonia Jameson Year 12.

The YPO Art Competition saw a record-breaking number of entries this year: over 300 pieces of artwork by children of all ages were submitted from all over the country. It is a fantastic achievement for the school to have not one but two entries in the final ten.

YPO staff members will now vote for the winners from each category. Category winners will receive £100 in YPO vouchers for their school, and an overall winner will receive £250 of YPO vouchers for their school and a hamper of art supplies from the company.
