First, Dinburgh entered The Mabel Ryan Awards 2017 in London. This event is organised by the Cecchetti Group and Cecchetti Society Classical Ballet Faculty as part of the annual Cecchetti Classical Ballet Awards. All competitors are required to show the set work for their section and a set dance. Out of 51 Under 13 girls, Dinburgh won the runner up in the Lower Junior category!

The following weekend, she competed in the British Rhythmic Gymnastics Open Apparatus Championships. Dinburgh won a silver medal on Espoir Clubs. This is her personal best so far.
