Lucy Brings Home 13 County Swim Medals

Lucy Dixon, a Y10 pupil at Bolton School Girls’ Division, has, over the course of the last three weekends, brought home 13 medals from the Lancashire County Swimming Championships.  

Lucy is now Lancashire County Champion 2020 in the girls' 15 years age group for the 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m Freestyle and the 400m Individual Medley and was runner-up in the 200m Individual Medley and 3rd place in the 200m Breaststroke. In addition to this, there are championship medals awarded to the fastest 3 swimmers in the junior age group (16 years and under). Lucy achieved silver in the 400m Free and 1500m Free and bronze in the 200m Free, 800m Free and 400m Individual Medley. She also picked up a senior championship bronze medal for being the 3rd fastest female across all of the age groups in the 1500m Free. 

After 3 amazing weekends of swimming, over half-term Lucy will be in Spain for an international swim camp!
