Medals for Acrobatic Gymnast

Poppy Donohue in Year 9 has recently competed in two acrobatic gymnastics competitions. She achieved a silver medal at the Spelthorne International Acro Cup, and at the Northwest Championships won gold.

This qualifies Poppy and the other members of her trio to compete in the British Championships in May.

The group’s intense schedule of training four times a week for three hours or more will continue in the run-up to this next competition. However, Poppy is looking forward to the experience, especially since other members of her club qualified for the British Championships as well.
