Nine Lacrosse Players Join Regional Academy

During the Easter holidays, a number of girls in Years 8 and 9 trialled for the Regional Academy Lacrosse Programme. This is a development programme designed to identify players who have the potential to represent their sport at national level and to raise the performance of junior girls at England Under 19 level.

Nine girls received confirmation from the Academy selectors that their trials were successful.

The Year 8 players were Jasmine Curtis-Walker, Martha Halford, Alice Leary, Olivia Maguire and Frankie Williams-Denton. The successful pupils in Year 9 were Chloe Ferguson, Ruby Hill, Phoebe Hurt and Amelia Myall.

The school wishes them luck in the next stage of their lacrosse training.
