School Supplies Players to GB Water Polo U19s

Two Old Boys and a student currently in the Sixth Form will join the Great Britain U19 Men’s team for the forthcoming qualifiers of the LEN European U19 Men’s Water Polo Tournament.

Year 13 student Harrison Barker-Smith joins the team alongside former pupils Bill Moores and Ben Ray, who both left Bolton School after completing their A Levels last summer. They are three of thirteen young men selected for the team following a gruelling training weekend, and this is the second year in which all three have been chosen. Boys’ Division water polo coach Mr McGinty is the U19 team’s Assistant Coach.

The three-day competition, which will be held in Manchester from 11 to 13 May, will see the Great Britain U19s play three qualification fixtures against Lithuania, Ukraine and Greece.
