Y9 Teja Makes Greater Manchester County Football Team

Teja Reece, a Y9 pupil at Bolton School Girls' Division, came out on the winning team having been selected to play as goalkeeper in her age group for Greater Manchester County Football Club. In a thrilling match against Shropshire, Teja kept goal in the first half and Greater Manchester went into the break holding a 3-1 lead. Manchester held on to their lead in a tight second half, running out 4-3 winners. Reflecting on the match Teja, who plays for Atherton Town U15s, said: "It took me a few minutes to overcome my nerves but then I settled down and played well."
