Bolton School Infants

Cereals Collection for Local Families

  • Beech House Urban Outreach Donations.JPG

Children in Beech House, the Infant School at Bolton School, have been collecting packets of breakfast cereals for Urban Outreach who will be pass them on to those in need across the town.

Head Teacher Mrs Tracey Taylor explains: ‘This collection for Urban Outreach's food bank known as "Storehouse" was instigated by one of our very kind mums who was moved by a story she heard about a local family who were receiving support. Apparently, the children cried when they were given some of their favourite cereal as they had not been able to afford to buy it for so long. We hope that there will be some very happy children in Bolton soon. We are always really grateful to our wonderful parents who are always very generous when it comes to supporting local causes.’
