"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

Diamond Jubilee Celebration Lunch

Thursday, 31 May 2012

Beech House children celebrated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with a Royal tea party.

At the Celebration Lunch, the girls and boys enjoyed sandwiches, quiche, mini pizzas, carrot and cucumber dippers and cakes. They each dressed in Royal attire with Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses gathered around tables themed in red, white and blue.

Mrs Debbie Northin, Head of Beech House, said: "Children have had a wonderful jubilee lunch. Whilst enjoying all the party food, they have also learnt a great deal about the Queen and all that has happened during her reign."

Year 2 at Beech House have been blogging about their week learning about the different decades in which the Queen has reigned - you can view their photos and thoughts here.
