Y2 at Beech House, the Infant Department at Bolton School, rounded off their dinosaur project with a wonderful interactive workshop, led by Mr Plater from Dino Star.

Teacher Mrs Clarke said: ‘It was a lovely ending to our topic that we’ve been doing this half-term – all about whether a dinosaur would make a good pet. We had lots of different ideas about this – but most of us thought it would make a very exciting pet! We were lucky enough to see an allosaurus’ skull, hold some real dinosaur bones and touch real life dinosaur eggs – that have an actual baby dinosaur inside! We also made our own fossils – it was a really magnificent day and we learned such a lot.’
