"Pupils are encouraged to volunteer, to lead, to perform, to try new things, to move outside their comfort zone and they emerge as fine, rounded, honourable young adults equipped to thrive and succeed wherever life takes them."

Excited Beavers Meet the Police

Friday, 14 March 2014

The Beaver Scouts, girls and boys from Beech House, Bolton School’s Infant School, were very excited to welcome Sergeant Martin from the local police force.

The visit was in relation to the Friendship Challenge Badge that the Beavers are currently working on, which involves them finding out about a range of people in the community who help in our everyday lives.

The girls and boys had much fun trying on the Sergeant’s hat and pretending to be handcuffed!

The Beavers were formally initiated into the 19th Bolton School Scout Group in October last year, meaning that the School’s Scout Group, which is almost one hundred years old, has a full complement of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
