"Pupils are encouraged to volunteer, to lead, to perform, to try new things, to move outside their comfort zone and they emerge as fine, rounded, honourable young adults equipped to thrive and succeed wherever life takes them."

Local Infants Develop Ball Skills

Thursday, 12 June 2014

Year 2 pupils from six local infant and junior schools have enjoyed an afternoon developing their coordination and ball skills at Bolton School. The event was led by Senior School Sports teachers, who were ably assisted by the School's Year 7 boys.

During the course of the afternoon, the girls and boys enjoyed a number of competitive challenges and obstacles which helped them improve their general ball skills as well as more specifically in the sports of football, tennis and rugby.

Winning school on the day was Highfield Primary School and their PE Subject leader, Matthew Hannon, said: “It has been a tremendous day of competitive activities in a relaxed environment. It has provided excellent provision for our Gifted and Talented athletes. Bolton School's young leaders have been superb throughout the event.”
