"Every time I drive through the centre arch of Bolton School, I feel an immense sense of pride and thankfulness that our girls attend this wonderful school. As a parent, I am delighted to be part of the Bolton School family."

Mountain of Toys for Bolton Children

Monday, 12 December 2016

Beech House children helped hand over new and nearly new toys to Bolton Lions for their Annual Big Christmas Toy Appeal. The School has been involved with the campaign for many years and this year saw a mountain of presents collected for distribution to over 1,000 young people in the Bolton community.

Babu Roye who, along with Bill Laithwaite, filled up the Lions' van with gifts for children aged 0-18 years, said: "This year we have seen a big influx of children requiring toys and, as ever, Beech House has provided a large donation of presents. Without the generosity of the people of Bolton and the children we could not do our work."

Toys can be donated at a number of locations across the towns and the campaign continues in earnest this week and next.
