Y2 football players from Beech House, Bolton School’s Infant School, have enjoyed an outstanding season. Their Reception teacher and PE Coordinator, Mrs Bateson, said: ‘I set up the team for them when they were in Reception with the aim of building a successful team for when they entered our junior schools at age 7. Ten players joined up with local club Ladybridge Juniors who play in the Bolton, Bury and District football league. After two years of training, this year four of our players have helped the team go on to win the league by over 100 goals difference and to triumph in the local challenge cup. They are now in a really strong position to develop their football skills even further as they progress to Junior School.’
