Children in Reception at Beech House, Bolton School’s Infant School, put on their annual Nativity for audiences of parents and grandparents, who packed the hall for both performances.
The boys and girls narrated the whole of the Christmas story themselves and some of the children in the roles of shepherds, angels and wise men had learned individual lines which they delivered with great confidence. The narration was interspersed with lovely singing, including ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’, the traditional carol ‘Away in a Manger’ and a variety of other songs to help illustrate the Nativity through music and dances.
At the end of each performance, Headmistress Tracey Taylor led the audience in thanking the children and members of staff for putting on this very special Christmas production.
