Pupils in Year 2 opened the Nativity season at Beech House with their production of Lights, Camel, Action. The children treated an audience of parents and family members of a variety of dances as they told the story of the birth of Jesus. These included the Nazareth Line Dance, the Angel Ballet, the Innkeepers’ Tango, the Star of Bethlehem’s disco number, and even the ‘Funky Camel’!

In fact, all of the nativity celebrities took to the stage to put on this glittering and glamorous dance show in the style of Strictly Come Dancing – complete with judges Julius Caesar, the Innkeeper’s Wife and the Donkey.

The children ended their performance with two classic Christmas songs, though one was with a twist: ‘Vive le Vent’, which the French version of ‘Jingle Bells’, followed by ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’.
