Year 2 Celebrate Bonfire Night

Thursday, 05 November 2015

Children in Year 2 at Beech House, Bolton School’s Infant School, celebrated Bonfire Night by creating themed artwork.

One of the classes used a range of natural autumn materials to make Bonfire Night celebration pictures. They explored the theme using collage techniques and made some really interesting pieces using twigs and leaves in combination with craft materials. The creative use of glitter and paint added some bright colours to their artwork.

The other class drew vibrant pictures of exploding fireworks on black paper using chalk. These drawings did a great job of capturing the bright colours and the interesting shapes of fireworks in the sky.
