Boys Create Electric Lego City
Friday, 18 March 2016
Pupils at the Junior Boys’ School enjoyed two days of creative building with Lego as part of Electro City Workshops provided by the Junior Boys’ Parents’ Association. They came up with their own ideas for different buildings, from hospitals and fire stations to houses with gardens, and even boats, an ocean liner, and an airport complete with plane! They then figured out how best to construct everything before working together to make their ideas a reality.
The boys were also able to ‘electrify’ their miniature village. They wired everything up to put lights inside the buildings, making an even more realistic facsimile of real buildings.
Everyone really enjoyed putting their creativity and construction skills to the test in this fun workshop.
