Boys Present Cheque to RNLI

Monday, 16 September 2013

Bolton School Junior Boys presented the Bolton Branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) with a cheque for £4356.58, raised through their annual fancy dress fun run!

Tom Ridyard and Brian Thompson from the RNLI visited Park Road to collect the cheque and to thank the boys for their efforts. The boys raised the money earlier in the year when they ran around the Senior School running track for 40 minutes dressed in fancy dress. The annual fundraiser is the main charity event at Park Road and pupils worked hard to raise the money and to complete the run on what was a warm, muggy afternoon!
