Choir Performs at Bolton Parish Church

Saturday, 05 December 2015

The Junior Boys’ Choir provided Christmas cheer to the townsfolk of Bolton on Saturday evening as they performed with the Blackburn and Darwen Band at a concert at Bolton Parish Church.

The choir sang three carols in the first half of the concert – Silent Night (in four languages), Puer Nobis sung by the Chamber Choir and Twentieth Century Carol.  In the second half of the concert they performed another three carols – Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day, A Virgin Most Pure and The Holly and the Ivy. They also joined with the band to great effect in singing Walking in the Air and Merry Christmas.
