Expansion Leads to Additional Year 5 Places

Due to popular demand, the Junior School of Bolton School Boys’ Division, will be introducing a third class to its Year 5 intake in September 2018. Demand for places at the highly regarded school has been buoyant for several years and from Autumn next year, Year 5 will enrol 3 classes of around 20 pupils. A special Entrance Examination will be held on Monday 20 November for current Year 4 boys looking to enter Year 5 at Bolton School in September 2018. Any parent wishing to register their child for this exam, should call 01204 434735. There will also be entrance examinations for boys wishing to enter Year 3 in September of next year on Thursday 18 January, as well as another entrance exam for entry into Years 4, 5 and 6 next Spring on Monday 22 January.

In its last ISI Inspection in December 2016, the school was given the highest rating of excellent in all categories.

The Bolton School Open Morning will take place on Saturday 14 October (9.30am-1.00pm) this year.
