Funny Faces for Red Nose Day
Friday, 13 March 2015
The Junior Boys got into the spirit of Red Nose Day by making their faces funny in exchange for a donation towards the Comic Relief fundraising effort.
Some boys donned official Comic Relief red noses, others painted on false moustaches or beards, and some went for full-face makeup t disguise their identity completely! This made for very entertaining scenes at Park Road as the boys went through their normal day with the addition of funny faces.
The boys’ efforts raised £276 for Comic Relief.
Younger children at Beech House Infants’ School and Bolton School Nursery also joined in the fun on Red Nose Day. Beech House was filled with pupils wearing pyjamas and onesies for the day, while children at the Nursery wore red clothing and had painted faces to raise money. The Nursery Class for Three and Four Year Olds dressed up in animal onesies and held a special charity market to make a little bit extra for the cause.
