"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

Pupils Represent Town in Cross Country Competition

Saturday, 21 March 2015

Several Bolton School pupils recently ran for the Bolton Town Cross Country Team in the Greater Manchester Primary Cross Country competition. Year 5 pupil Anna Wiggetts and Year 6s Alastair Harris, Matthew Mair and Sam Olawumi were selected for the Bolton team before the end of term.

These pupils were among 113 girls and 109 boys taking part in the competition. After a challenging day of cross country, Matthew came in 12th place overall in the boys’ competition. Alastair and Anna also finished the race with good mid-table results.

The Bolton Town team came in first place, which was an excellent achievement for all the children involved.
